Although many focus on the set piece of a Sunday morning, we believe that
church is an every day adventure.
It’s easy to be spiritual when we have no responsibility but as the bible encourages
us to work, to marry and to have a family we find that one evening in the middle of
the week helps to support, encourage and energise us in the midst of of a busy
schedule.
Currently we have five groups that meet across the “Stewartry”. Each one is led by
a member of the church Oversight and ably supported by deputy.
The venue for each meeting changes week by week as individual members take
turns in hosting.
Fellowship is followed by a discussion regarding the previous Sunday’s teaching.
We like to ask “what has the Holy Spirit said to us through the sermon”. The
conversation can be wide ranging and challenging but always encouraging.
Prayer is crucial and in our mid week meetings we take time to listen as well as
bring our petitions before our Heavenly Father.
As the majority of the congregation will be in work the following morning, we seek
to finish by 9.00pm
